The first camera I would recommend is the Nikon D3000, its 10.2 Megapixel (if i'm not mistaken) and sorry can't remember what's the price, but i guess around your budget la. It has the picture control, active-D lighting and all.
The second camera is preferably the canon eos 500d. Of course, more megapixel than nikon d3000. Its 15 mp. Ada face detection, and ada this auto lighting thingy, i can't remember. But something to do with lighting. And yeah, LCD dia is much bigger compared to other cameras. But, one thing, 500d is enormous.
The third camera, well terkeluar budget sikit la, lol. The nikon d90. But worth buying I guess because harga pun tak lari jauh sangat. Its about rm3ooo. The good thing about nikon d90 is that boleh amik video. 12.3 megapixel. My friend uses d90, and he said its worth buying.
Okay, I guess itu je I would recommend. If I recommend banyak, it would be hard for you to choose. But, I'll salute you if you buy my dream camera, the canon eos 7d. Its really new on sale, and really expensive. Last time I saw was rm9000. But, 7d is the latest, and I guess the best eos
